Exhibit: Artists Lisa Collodoro & Tharanga Goonetilleke

Return to Innocence

01 Oct 2020 - 30 Nov 2020

This show centers upon themes of motherhood, the freedom of childhood and the exploration of self.  The drawings and paintings of both artists are as diverse in styles as they come.  However, their ability to emote volumes through minimalism brings these two artists together.

Lisa brings life to geometry and uses pops of color to express joy and exuberance, while Tharanga uses both subtle and elaborate renderings to her drawings to express deep emotions and profound nuances of life.

Exhibit: Artist Scot J. Wittman

Scot J Wittman is a Philadelphia-based artist with an international reach.  The recipient of a National Endowment grant, he has exhibited in the Whitney Biennial, Art/Basel and the Cranbook Art Museum.  Wittman has presented at Yale University, Rutgers University and Swarthmore University.  Residencies have allowed him to work with noted bionano engineers and collaborate with famous dancers; with equal parts celebration and suspicion Wittman shines light on shifting human capabilities and desires.  His interests have grown to include nature itself in addition to natural abilities.  Additional information can be found on his feature website Mapographer.com  In addition to posting newest works, he exhibits 'from the studio' thinking (drone footage, pencil sketches, video clips, etc.) on his Instagram @OpusFlight
