A 'Big Night'
Dinner & Film Screening!
To conclude our unique Louis Prima programming for Summer 2026, the Italian Educational & Center at Casa Colombo is excited to present our "Big Night Dinner & Film Screening!"
Inspired by the classic 1996 film starring Stanley Tucci, Minnie Driver, Tony Shalhoub, Ian Holm and Isabella Rossellini, our own dinner and film night follows the theme of the movie closely. 'Big Night' tells the tale of two Italian immigrant brothers, Chefs Primo and Secondo, who open their dream restaurant in New Jersey.
The brothers' genuine cuisine is surprisingly unfamiliar to local palates, leading to struggles for their restaurant. However, when renowned American bandleader Louis Prima is set to appear there, brothers pour all their energy into creating a memorable meal that could determine the restaurant's future.
Join us on Sunday, July 26th from 3-6pm to celebrate the conclusion of our exhibition 'Louis Prima: Rediscovering A Musical Icon' with a screening of 'Big Night' and a laid-back Italian-style Sunday dinner, all amidst Prima's personal effects and artifacts.
