On Monday evening, @spprep_italiano presented "New Beginnings", a beautiful and moving initiative developed in collaboration with @iecc.casacolombo and the highlight of our Italian-American heritage month celebration. We are so grateful for the past and current students who participated in recounting the story of their Italian immigrant(s). A special "grazie" to IECC vice chair, Carla Mastropierro for her shared commitment to honoring our immigrants' stories and to Dr. Nick Cozzarelli '15 for his heartfelt reflection connecting the Ignatian Examen with "preserving Italian-American heritage for future generations". Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable evening as we honored the stories, sacrifices, and legacies of our 🇮🇹 immigrants.
