A Special Holiday Program with Carla Gambescia -
Sunday, December 13th @4 pm

Discover the surprising stories behind some of our most cherished holiday traditions from Saint Nicholas (Babbo Natale) and the nativity, to candy canes and Christmas stockings. We’ll explore how both the pagan and Christian magically coalesced into the holiday we celebrate today as well as a few less familiar uniquely Italian customs such as the Feast of the Epiphany and wearing red underwear!  Intrigued? Andiamo! Join us, and let’s celebrate Natale and Capodanno together. Award-winning author, lecturer and photographer, Carla Gambescia, will be our guide to the holiday festivities!

Return to Innocence

01 Oct 2020 - 30 Nov 2020

This show centers upon themes of motherhood, the freedom of childhood and the exploration of self.  The drawings and paintings of both artists are as diverse in styles as they come.  However, their ability to emote volumes through minimalism brings these two artists together.

Lisa brings life to geometry and uses pops of color to express joy and exuberance, while Tharanga uses both subtle and elaborate renderings to her drawings to express deep emotions and profound nuances of life.
